I wrote this entry laz week, didnt post it coz my sucking internet connection at the hostel couldnt open this page, now i'm using the library computer ^^

How everyone? I’m fine here, except for a few complains, haha…
I’m staying at Sunway condo hostel, which is around 10minutes walk away from Monash Uni. If plus waiting for the damn slow lift to come and go down, then will be around 15-20min depends on the crowd. Lift is really important to me coz I’m living on 23rd floor!!!
I’m room is a single room, there should be 6 other housemate in my unit, but I forgot how many I met so far, haha… Seriously I cant remember their name n face, we don’t talk much, just great them when I see them, its like everyone living each own’s life… Very kesian loh, got Dubai ppl, Indonesian, Sri Lankan…Just no chinese girl in my unit, haiz…Me n Michele are living in the same floor but different unit, coz each unit only have 1 single room and both of us wan single room. My room is full of stuffs, messy and cosy, haha…The condo here is quite new lah, quite clean also. The only complain in the damn internet speed. Gals, seriously I can write a whole novel on the internet speed, it sucks! Totally!! Its just like dead, almost cant do anything with this speed, I cant watch youtube at all (1.30min of video will need to load 30min or more), I cant download my lecture notes (to be precise I cant even open the Monash Online Study page at all!!), I cant do my tutorial, I can do nothing!!! Shit the internet here lah, I wan to get a broadband! Really cant stand this speed already, I have to go library and fight and line up for computers, and the library is close on weekends and after 5.30pm! Pitiful me… I tried asking about the speed at the hostel, the internet company told me the Sunway only subscribe 256kbps, and then we share among duno how many hundreds of students =.= Itz horrible just to think of it, its slower then dial up! Don’t care liao lah, I wan broadband!! T__T
The only thing good about the internet here is they have a so called “ultimate pirated software”, according to the legend, it is set up by some hero studying here not long ago. The famous Xsocam. Haha, itz like a internal file sharing withing the hostel here, ppl share their files then we grab. The speed in really fast loh, soooo unlike the internet connection speed. I can download the whole ‘1litre of tears series” 4.6GB in around 30min, if no 1 is fighting with me to dl the show. We tried b4 downloading a movie “dead silence” coz everyone suddenly feel like watching scary movie, haha it took is 5-6 mins only. ^^ thatz the good part! I get lotsa korean stuffs here too, but the problem is itz not the latest one. Haha, coz no one can dl the lastest with this internet connection speed online, so we have to wait til when holiday, everyone goes home and dl at home, den we will get to grab the fil when they come back. But I cant possibily dl my lecture notes and do my tutorial there mah!!! T.T
Just started lectures this week, starting to get scary loh, haha…Lecturers keep on telling us that they are goping to torture us. Orientation last week was quite fun lah. The 1st 3 days in campus on all the introduction and talks are boring lah, but the 3 days camp at Port Dickson was fun, n itz free! Haha, its for all new Medic students, we had all kinds of crazy things there. They introduce the type of lectures, PCLs, tutorials and group disscusion will will have, then we had games, jungle tracking, jogging, spontaneous performance n etc . Our intake has around 95 ppl, a lot of indians loh, quite many lah… got afew MARA sponsered students too, and afew sri lankan, some international student from Iraq, Canada, spore…Ppl here quite fun lah, but very scary also loh, all damn clever and kiasu oso >.<>
Our timetable is the so-called most scary timetable in monash, haha… Coz our earlist class can start at 8am, other courses never had this time slot. We don’t get to choose the timeslot that we want, they just allocate for us and we have to follow T__T Quite a lot of our classes like PCL and tutorials are done in small groups, and we had role play last class, haha, my groupmates are really good in acting. We take turns to act as patients and doctor to practise interview skills, haha I guess when we graduate we can become actors already!
On ya, on 27th Feb I think, Backstreet boys came for a concert in Sunway Lagoon, duno why but the tickets are damn cheap loh, rm88 only, but standing on the Sunway beach lah… I didn’t go loh, don’t really know them very well. But I get to hear and see free concert from the condo. Can hear quite clearly, coz it a open-air concert in Sunway Lagoon wetland. Den can see the big screen also, but tiny lah, haha…
